I was raised in Miami Beach, Florida for eight years. We were transferred to Texas. I attended Sam Houston State University where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Teaching Elementary/Secondary and Special Education. I obtained a Social Work Associates certificate at the University of Houston. I received my Master of Education in Counseling Education at Sam Houston State University.

Career Assessment and Four Year Plans begin for 8th graders. We will administer the program during P.E/Athletic classes.
Education For Tomorrow's Alliance will be visiting 8th graders, in Language classes. They will show connections between education and careers.

Texas Generation Week will be celebrated in the cafeteria. Colleges, technical schools, careers, military information will be available to all students. 11/14 Lone Star College will be visiting. Wear your favorite college shirt. 11/15 ROTC from CCHS will be visiting. Wear you favorite military shirt. 11/16 CCHS Cullinary Arts teacher and students will be visiting. 11/17 College and funding information will be available. We will have free give aways for wearing your favorite college shirt. 11/18 Career information will be available to students! Teachers will wear their cap and gowns. Students dress for success!
CCHS lead counselor will be visiting 8th graders in the large gym through Language classes. She will discuss your 2017-2018 course selection sheets.
9th grade course selection sheets are due.

All materials, including curriculum to be used during the year, shall be available on campus for any parent ro guardian to preview during school hours. No material or curriculum may be used in the counseling and guidance program that is not included in the materials available for preview.
